The Role We are seeking an experienced and creative Regional Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our marketing strategy and communications activity across our Sutton campus and regional sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, hands-on professional who can bring our college’s story to life — raising awareness of our exceptional provision, celebrating student success, and strengthening engagement with learners, families, staff, partners, and the wider community. You will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated marketing and communications plan that supports recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and the college’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement a regional marketing and communications strategy aligned with college and trust-wide priorities. * Lead on student recruitment campaigns, digital marketing, and community engagement initiatives. * Manage content creation for website, newsletters, social media, and press releases to promote college achievements and events. * Oversee brand consistency and ensure all communications reflect our values of inclusion, respect, and empowerment. * Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, schools, and community partners. * Monitor and analyse marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. * Line-manage and support marketing officers or assistants across regional sites (if applicable). About You You will be a confident communicator and strategic thinker, with a flair for storytelling and stakeholder engagement. You’ll combine creativity with strong project management skills and a genuine passion for inclusive education. Essential criteria: * Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally within education, charities, or public sector. * Strong digital marketing skills (social media, website management, analytics). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. * Understanding of (or empathy with) the SEND sector and inclusive education. Desirable: * Experience working within an FE college, school, or SEND setting. * Knowledge of local community networks and education partnerships in South London.
