Senior Management Accountant

As part of their continued expansion, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team. This is an exciting role offering real scope to contribute to business performance and work closely with senior stakeholders in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis across multiple entities. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities, with excellent exposure to strategic financial planning and decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Preparation of monthly management accounts and half/year end accounts * Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and associated analysis * Production of board reporting packs, offering meaningful commentary and insights for senior leadership * Conducting detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions and drive performance * Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to identify efficiencies and improve profitability * Supporting the annual budgeting process * Completion and submission of VAT returns * Assisting with internal and external audit processes * Involvement in a range of ad hoc financial projects as required The main candidate will be: * Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or CA) * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting * Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis * Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to support business performance * Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders * A proactive team player who supports a collaborative finance environment, including junior and transactional team members In return is the opportunity to undertake a newly created, high-impact role within a growing organisation, with the remit to help shape financial processes and contribute to strategic outcomes.
