Cover Teacher – Humanities & STEM Are you passionate about History, Geography, Religious Studies, English Literature, or STEM? Do you want to inspire young learners while developing your own skills? A forward-thinking secondary school in the M40 area of Manchester is seeking enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work across Humanities and STEM. This role is ideal for qualified teachers and recent graduates who want to gain valuable classroom experience or explore whether teaching is the right career path.   📍 Location: Manchester, M40 💷 Daily rate: £90 – £150 🎓 Teaching levels: KS3 & KS4   The Role: Leading pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 Managing the classroom confidently and maintaining a positive atmosphere Supporting pupils to meet lesson objectives and stay engaged Creating an inclusive learning space where all pupils can thrive Following school policies and sharing feedback with teaching staff  Who We’re Looking For: ✔️ Experience working with or supporting secondary-aged pupils (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or placements) ✔️ Strong knowledge in Humanities or STEM subjects ✔️ Excellent communication and classroom management skills ✔️ Confidence in delivering lessons and following plans ✔️ Two recent education-based references ✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) ✔️ A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude   💡 This is also a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are keen to gain classroom experience before applying for teacher training.
