Head of HR

Head of HR - Our client, a high-profile & major employer in Co. Clare, have engaged with us in Cpl to recruit an experienced Head of HR to join their leadership team. This is an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified and senior level HR professional to advance their HR career.

The job reports to the Head of Operations and is a key part of the leadership team, leading all aspects of HR operations and strategic HR delivery across diverse business units.

Design, deliver and implement HR strategies and projects; lead and mentor the HR teams; take ownership of ER and IR issues; oversee the compensation and benefits, recruitment and training programmes; implement HR cultural initiatives; analyse industry best practices for adoption; provide HR input to senior leadership decision-making processes.

• 3rd level degree qualified, or above, in HR, business studies or a relevant discipline.
• 4-5+ years' relevant HR experience, ideally in a HR leadership role.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver on HR projects and initiatives.
• Experience working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.

Salary will depend on candidate skills and experience but is expected to be approximately 70k plus pension and other benefits, with strong career growth prospects.
