Paediatric Clinical Lead – Bedfordshire Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year + Mileage (45p/mile) Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (Hybrid & Flexible) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Looking for your next step in leadership? This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Nurse or Registered Nurse to join a leading healthcare provider as a Paediatric Clinical Lead in Bedfordshire. As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you’ll play a vital role in shaping complex care delivery, mentoring nurses, and ensuring safe, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex paediatric care packages, including assessments, risk planning, and reviews. Conduct new client assessments and chair clinical team meetings. Complete audits to ensure compliance with best practice and CQC standards. Provide supervision, mentorship, and competency sign-off for nurses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective care. Deliver clinical support during routine and emergency situations. Train and develop care staff in specialist equipment and procedures. Skilled in complex care (tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal or brain injuries). Community nursing experience (paediatric and/or adult). Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
