Senior Health & Safety Manager

Principal People are delighted to be working with a well-established and ambitious contractor based near Aylesford, Kent. With a strong project pipeline across the region and a reputation for quality, the organisation is now looking to bring in a dedicated Senior Health and Safety Manager to develop their Safety function. A hybrid role, this is a key role in refining and implementing the H&S strategy while supporting operational teams across sites, predominantly based within Kent. The Senior Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: Providing practical Health and Safety advice and support across live projects Working closely with senior leadership to develop and embed the Group H&S strategy Conducting incident investigations and implementing preventative measures Driving continuous improvement and promoting a positive H&S culture Leading on audits, inspections, and site-based engagement Manage a small Team of H&S Professionals The ideal candidate will possess: Experience in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Telecommunications, Highways, Construction or similar. environments NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent A full UK driving licence Remuneration and Benefits: Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience £5,000 car allowance 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Defined route to Head of H&S and Director level roles Pension scheme Plus additional benefits The client is looking to commence interviews in the coming weeks.
