We require a Management Accountant to provide effective and efficient support to the Deputy Bursar and proactively contribute to the smooth running of the Accounts Department.
This role specifically demands a high level of understanding in the areas covered in the role and the ability to deal with adhoc queries using own initiative with minimum supervision. Would suit a part-qualified or qualified by experience candidate. The main duties and responsibilities can be found in our Job Description.
Hours are 37.5hrs per week (all year round, including College holidays)
St Edmund s College is situated in rural East Hertfordshire, set in breath taking grounds. It is England's oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for students from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.
Whilst not in a teaching role, as a Management Accountant you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone s responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
