Pay: GBP120 - GBP130 per day

Elementa Support Services is excited to announce a new opportunity with our client, an all-through primary to secondary school located in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire. They are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Contract Cover Supervisor to join their team. The main duties include teaching PSHE and English to Key Stage 3, with some general cover duties to be expected. With the all-through provision they offer, PPA cover in the primary phase may be required at times. Therefore, they are looking for strong and flexible applicants who are confident to teach through key stages 1 to 4, with good classroom management and the ability to cover a variety of subjects. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that the planned learning objectives are met.
• Provide support for students in all subjects with a primary focus on English.
• Maintain a positive learning environment while effectively managing classroom behaviour.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to address students' individual needs.
• Assist in the preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor or Instructor, specifically in an educational setting.
• A background in English, with the ability to engage students in their learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a conducive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the classroom.
• Commitment to upholding the values and standards of the educational institution.

Contract & recruitment information
