Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country s major house builders. Training apprentices is a core part of our ethos. The Role
If you re a qualified electrician with a knack for sharing your knowledge with apprentices, apply now to join our training team and begin a rewarding new chapter in your career. At our purpose-built centres we train all of our own apprentices and with their numbers on the rise, we re looking to expand our team by recruiting someone who d like to put their years of electrical experience to use in a new field.
We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training, fully fund your teaching qualifications, and offer mentorship from experienced team members many of whom transitioned from hands-on roles into teaching.
This role is based at our Bracknell teaching centre, with occasional travel to Gloucester required, typically for one day per week. Overnight accommodation will be arranged as needed. Our training team is predominantly based in Gloucester, but we also deliver apprentice training in other locations. While this role specifically focuses on Bracknell and Gloucester, flexibility for occasional travel between these two centres is essential.
For electricians new to teaching salary will start at GBP38,000, increasing over time as teaching qualifications and experience are gained. Flexible working hours are available for this role with both full and part-time candidates considered.
The safeguarding of our apprentices is of paramount importance to us and therefore all candidates must provide 2 references. Successful applicants with need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau) check before taking up the position.
