Maintenance Engineer

This could be the role you have been looking for… We are actively recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join this hugely successful multi-site food manufacturing business at their location near Middlewich. The Role: * Carry out planned/scheduled maintenance tasks & record work done or required on CMMS * Assist with machinery installation and decommissioning * Diagnose machine breakdowns and act accordingly * Communicate and escalate accordingly when assistance is required * Carry out routine equipment safety and maintenance inspections * Ensure all work conforms to statutory & safety requirements * Ensure that plant and equipment perform to manufacture product efficiently to high quality standards. * Undertake the training of others as required for development and regulatory requirements * Participate in Continuous Improvement teams as required * Communicate daily with Team Leaders & Managers to ensure planned maintenance, engineering and production priorities are understood. * Focusing on the safety and reliability of the equipment to ensure they meet production demands. About You: * Fully qualified Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician, accredited to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or BTEC * Experience of PPM Implementation, delivery and control within a maintenance background * A working knowledge of continuous improvement / operational excellence delivering using 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Problem Solving * Effective fault diagnostic and have excellent problem-solving skills * A focus on Health and Safety in the workplace In return for meeting the above criteria, you will be rewarded with a salary of Circa £50k plus bonus and a chance to work for a leading food manufacturing business based in the North-West
