Construction Administrator – Fit Out & Build Contractor Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire Immediate Start | 5 Days/Week | Day Rate – Based on Experience Our client, a leading design and build contractor specialising in high-quality fit-outs and installations, is currently seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to join their growing team on a busy site in Chipping Norton. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a solid background in site-based construction admin to contribute to dynamic, design-led projects. The Role: * Reporting directly to the Project Director and working closely with the Managing Director on-site, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure efficient project execution. * This is a full-time site-based position, offered on a day-rate basis, with potential for longer-term engagement following a successful trial period. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive admin support to the PD and MD on-site. * Manage document and drawing control, ensuring accuracy and easy access. * Support project coordination between site teams, consultants, and contractors. * Monitor programmes and assist in reviewing project schedules. * Maintain records for supplies, materials, and subcontractor documentation. * Ensure filing systems and documentation remain current and compliant. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of on-site construction administration experience. * CV must demonstrate continuous employment – contract roles should be clearly identified. * Ideally Degree-qualified in a relevant field. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). * Strong IT skills, with experience in construction-specific platforms. * Experience as a Document Controller is advantageous. * Familiarity with 1BC and Procore software is a bonus. * Highly organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Must live within an hour of Chipping Norton.
