National Account Manager


NAM/Commercial Manager - Food Manufactuirng

Full Time - Office Based

  • Reporting into the Commercial Director, and as a result of business growth you will play a key part in managing the day-to-day activity of our largest account.
  • Support the ongoing management.
  • Driving forward value chain and cost saving plans.
  • Managing an annual promotion plan.
  • Managing seasonal trade plans for key times of the year.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of business forecasts on a weekly basis, mainly volume and pricing forecasts.
  • Playing a key part in some great initiatives such as plastic reduction.
  • The role will have autonomy and good degree of decision-making responsibility based in our commercial office.

Person specification

  • Commercial experience within the food industry.
  • Experience of working with leading retailers or working within the produce sector would be an advantage.
  • Someone who can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can thrive on identifying and driving key commercial opportunities.
  • Strong numerically and understands the importance of analysis of data and interpretation.
  • Personable and ambitious to continue developing their commercial skills.
  • Somebody who can demonstrate a customer first approach.
  • Excellent communications skills at all levels, internal, external and cross-functionally.

Must have fresh or chilled experience.

Retail experience a must.
