Fund Monitoring Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor Growing Independent Business – Central London (Holborn) £38,000 to £50,000 per annum plus 10-20% bonus We are currently working exclusively with one of the UK’s leading independent fund monitoring businesses. Well-established and growing in all regional markets across the UK, our client has grown to a 30-head strong professional services firm and competes against many of the large international consulting businesses. They have very impressive growth plans (which they’ve managed to achieve year-on-year since inception) which will see them continue to build on the excellent reputation they have built for themselves over the last few years. They currently have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to undertake a full-time Fund Monitoring role in London. As a Fund Monitor, you will be acting on behalf of project funders and investors on schemes in which they have an interest. Essentially, the role will involve providing technical due diligence on a variety of schemes, monitoring site progress and lots of report writing! If you’re a Quantity Surveyor with a remote interest in moving across into a full-time Fund Monitoring role, this could be for you! The role will be based in the London office (nr Holborn) in a modern, shared-service office and once you’ve settled and have become self sufficient, you’ll be able to work from home two days per week (obviously depending on meetings, etc). Constant training/improvement and further learning for all staff is one of our company’s big beliefs, which is driven through both senior mentoring and regular workshops. Ideally, you will have the following experience: * Relevant surveying or engineering degree. * 1-2 years minimum experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a consulting/advisory business. * Previous experience of fund monitoring would be a distinct advantage. * Good communication skills and able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Valid driving licence (for site visits). * Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship will be provided for this opportunity). In return, depending on your level of experience, our client is offering a basic salary of between £38,000 and £50,000 per annum plus benefits including an annual 10-20% bonus.
