Cnc Machinist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, conscientious and committed individual who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. The successful candidate must have a do it now & can-do attitude to support production and its needs in the machining of steel and rubber products to defined tolerances and specifications. Key duties for this role are setting up, programming and the operation of machines to achieve best quality and accurate components, understanding and translating drawings from CAD/CAM packages into CNC programme and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order. The candidate must be trained to use CAM/CAD software and operate CNC Machines. Experience of ISO FANUK and ISO programming capabilities and understanding would be advantageous. Hands on machining experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidate must have excellent communication, organisation skills and motivated by continuous improvement. Candidates must be willing to work a two shift pattern (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) rotating on a weekly basis. Full job description can be provided on request.
