Production Planner

Production Planner Location Droitwich Spa Salary - £35 - £40k per annum negotiable Full time job description The company is a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles and have an unequalled reputation for the quality of our products and services. We are having a restructure within the business and are looking for a Production Planner to continue to drive the business forward. Role Purpose The Production Planner will plan all aspects of production, working closely with the Sales team, the Drawing Office and the Stores team. You will also be responsible for: The responsibilities Issuing lead times and completion dates to departments Manage the hours for each job Manage holidays for five departments, factoring these into the job hours. Manage the specification register with the Managing Director Request information to order parts and steel ahead of arranged build dates Ensure daily operations are in line company processes and procedures, implementing new ideas for better results Ensure good housekeeping The person Experience in a manufacturing/engineering sector Ability to read engineering drawings Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills Confident in computer skills, including Microsoft office, excel, etc Team player, who can drive a positive, energetic team Strong verbal and communication skills Positive attitude to deliver excellent results Demonstrate ambition and a drive to succeed in their career Working hours are Monday to Friday (no weekends) start/end time to be discussed at interview, along with pay) Experience: Engineering/Manufacturing: 3 years (required) Production Planning: 2 years (required) Please apply with your CV in the first instance.
