Team Leader (Structural Engineering)

Team Lead – Structural Engineering Our client is an international employee owned and award winning engineering consultancy, known for investing and upskilling their staff to provide an exceptional service and solutions to their clients worldwide. They work on a range of medium to large projects including commercial, education, healthcare, workplaces, industrial, residential and more, touching every stage of the development process. They are looking for Principal or Associate Engineers to lead and grow the Structures Team in Birmingham. You will use your experience and knowledge to be a technical expert and mentor for the team of 7 engineers. The Person: * Experience Leading and managing multiple projects of all sizes. * Proven record of developing design delivery programmes. * Involvement in managing project finances and controlling WIP, debt and profitability. * Experienced Structural Engineer ideally chartered or working under recognised professional institute working towards chartership. * Producing clear and practical design sketches to be passed to structural technicians. * Effective communication with internal and external design teams. Qualifications: * Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience.
