Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Walton on Thames £(Apply online only) per day Inside IR35 Contract length is 2 years but will be ongoing Hybrid (3 days on site 2 days remote) Our client is currently looking for two Senior Quantity Surveyors to be based at Walton-on-Thames. Water industry is preferred but they will consider Infrastructure, Civil and rail experience also. The candidate will be responsible for the Commercial Management of Projects Senior Quantity Surveyor responsibilities: * Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages * Liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost * Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met * Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary * Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation * Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors * Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment * The preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts. * Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff Essential * Degree or equivalent * NEC3 Experience * Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution * Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors Desirable * Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
