Credit Controller


I am pleased to be working with a successful and growing organisation based in Wrexham as they look to recruit a Credit Controller to join their small and friendly Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have an AAT qualification and a strong background in financial administration. Main duties and responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner. Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks Assist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresDesired skills and experience AAT qualification Proven experience as a Financial Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures. Proficiency in using accounting software particularly Sage and Xero Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
