Cladding/Facades Estimator

We are representing an award winning family friendly Facade and Building Envelope contractor based near Portsmouth; they are known for their excellent service and after care supplying and installing various types of facades and external envelope products within the public, education, commercial and transport sectors covering the south of England including the London region. * Duties; * Pricing works between £200,000 and £6 million. * Dynamic * Develop client relationships and leads to manufacture new business opportunities * Good at following up estimate and chasing clients for responses. * Able to issue reports on leads, enquiries, pipeline, likelihood of contract win * Good at building relationship and integrating with other departments * Good at building client and supplier relationships * We can be flexible with remote working for the right candidate * Understanding of the relevant Building Regulations and Building Safety Act * Cladding experience * Rainscreen * Other metals such as zinc * GRC and similar * Aluminium * Wide range of rainscreen support systems * Fire barriers * Insulation - thermal & acoustic properties * Glazing experience * Curtain walling * Understanding of components and the like * Use of Logikal or similar * Knowledge of numerous different systems * Doors * Integration of automation with security requirements * Understanding of SBD/PAS24 requirements * Types – Glazed, aluminium, steel, automated * Glass properties – Thermal, acoustic, light transmittance, coatings * Pressed metal such as flashings, cills, copings, cappings, casings * Roofing experience – Green roof, Hot melt & Single ply On offer is a competitive and benefits package with genuine progression for the right candidate
