Nights Site Manager

Job Role:

• Overseeing the work of all the different trades and contractors on site
• Coordinating with the project manager or client to ensure that the project is progressing according to plan
• Managing the project budget and schedule
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are being followed
• Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that arise
• Communicating with other managers and employees to ensure the project is on track
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that all work is carried out to the required standards

Requirements:

• Within the UK Construction Industry Site managers require SMSTS, the industry wide recognised site management safety training scheme.
• Relevant CSCS card, First Aid at Work, UK driving licence, HNC or above within construction
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and direct a team effectively
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions on the job
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and competing demands
• Good organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively
• The ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Good understanding of construction processes and building regulations
• Site Managers are expected to have a good understanding of construction processes and building regulations.
