CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

We are working with a high-quality Precision Engineering company that works in the submarine, nuclear, automotive, and medical sectors for the permanent role of a: - CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator Hours - Mon- Thurs 7.30 am - 4 pm, Fridays - 7 am - 12.30 pm Overtime is available as and when and is paid at x1.5 Job Responsibilities * Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning and milling. * Interpret drawings and specifications to determine machining operations * Select and install appropriate cutting tools, jigs, and tools. * Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and compliance with specifications * Make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and machine performance. * Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments * Troubleshoot equipment and machine issues as required. * Maintain a clean and tidy work area Requirements * Minimum of 3 + years of CNC Milling * Experience in using programming software * Experience of HAAS and Fanuc Desirable * Good Knowledge of tooling and machine processes * Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications * Ability to perform assembly tasks when required
