Audio Visual Break-Fix Engineer


About The Role Role Overview: proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally. Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Break-Fix Manager to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite at a leading multinational professional services network. One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Break-Fix Engineer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: * Report into proAV AV Manager & Ignition Centre Manager on a daily basis * Liaise with Ignition teams to agree any additional daily tasks and activities * Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a second / third line basis * Responsible for technical support of all installed systems with the Ignition spaces * Fault triage & identification * Validation of faults * Implement work arounds in the event of system failures utilising local critical spares * Ensure all incident tickets are tracked via SNOW in real time and ensure client is kept up to date * Assist with coordination & manage repairs via proAV helpdesk teams * Oversee/coordination & management of incidents * Troubleshoot AV related technology issues to complete resolution * Assist with the development/creation site documentation for fault triage & escalations through to proAV helpdesk * Assist with the development/creation SOPs * Coordination of software/firmware upgrades/processes in line with proAV’s technician administrator * Identify 3rd parties service providers, i.e. specialist manufactures, BT, IT, Facilities etc and formalise support models across the groups * Manage critical spares stock & stock control reports * Coordination of PMV plans * Daily systems checks & test to ensure equipment is in operable condition prior to any meeting or Event * Provide both pre and post event support as well as immediate support during events as required * Manage proAV onsite support deliverables * EOL / asset management in collaboration with proAV’s technical administrator * Create monthly MI reports * Attend weekly / monthly operational meetings as required About Us: proAV designs, integrates and supports blended technology solutions with AV, UC and beyond including end-to-end services and 24/7/365 support to enhance global collaboration and empower your world of communication.
