Car and Van Delivery Driver Upper Heyford, Bicester. 3 - 5 Days Per Week.

Salary: GBP11.44 per hour plus 12.77% holiday pay = GBP12.82 PH

Connected Car Services Limited is a leader in the supply of services to some of the world s leading car and van manufacturers and dealer groups in the UK including Greenhous Fleet Services, Upper Heyford.

An exciting new employment opportunity has arisen for Car and Van Delivery Drivers working from our Upper Heyford (OX255HA) site. Your role would be to Handover new cars to customer driveways around the UK. You can choose to work 3 - 5 days per week (weekdays only). Preference will be given to those who can work consecutive days and cover our busiest days - Mondays and Fridays.

What you ll be doing:

• Delivery and first-class handover of new vehicles all over the UK. Following delivery you will return to site by public transport. Expenses covered and/or reimbursed.
• Demonstrate vehicle features to customers on 'New Car Day'
• Check cars in/out using Apps on a company provided Samsung Tablet
• Ensure all work is completed safely and within company guidelines

You don't need experience as we will provide training however, preference will be given to those who have gained excellent customer service skills in Retail, Hospitality or Automotive and who understand how important your role is in making 'New Car Day' an awesome event for the customer.

Hours: We try to be flexible, but we give preference to those who can work four or five days per week, most weeks. Due to the geographic coverage involved, most days can involve long hours.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience (for insurance reasons)
• Minimum Age: 21 (for insurance reasons)
• Maximum 6 'SP' points on license.
• No DQ's in last 5-years
• Able to drive cars and vans, both manual and automatic.
• Being a skilled, safe and confident driver is essential
• English Language both written and spoken.
• Tech savvy so you can demonstrate to customers how to use their new cars, mostly Electric Vehicles (training will be provided).
• Able to provide excellent customer service at all times.
• To be able to work as part of a team
• Have a friendly, can-do attitude.

This is not a self employed role, it is full-time employment but with a certain flexibility in terms of days worked (as described above). Our volumes are high, business is good but we cannot guarantee availability of jobs every day.
