Project Manager


Join Our Dynamic Projects Team Atlas Workplace Services is currently seeking a dedicated Project Manager to ensure the compliant and successful delivery of projects for our client near Oxford. This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading facilities management company that prides itself on delivering top-quality service to its clients for a 12 month Fixed Term contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background overseeing and managing various projects from inception to completion and some knowledge of quantity surveying or estimating would be an advantage. Occasional weekend availability may be required to support projects with out of hours works. Key Responsibilities * Manage project delivery in compliance with contract KPIs and ensure efficient, cost-effective progression. * Prepare initial concept budgets and detailed evolving budgets to ensure project profitability. * Create pre-tender estimates, conduct valuations, and agree on final accounts with various stakeholders. * Take and understand client briefs, formulating effective action plans and communication strategies. * Oversee the submission of planning applications and advise on procurement routes. * Host client/site meetings, ensuring clear communication and minute-taking. * Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to clients, resolving any on-site issues promptly. Principle Duties and Responsibilities * To ensure delivery of projects by following and applying all stages of Infineum’s framework and processes from start to finish. * Liaising with third party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery, quality and safety is maintained. To ensure all third-party suppliers act in accordance with Atlas and Infineum processes and procedures. * Scheduling the installation and resources required for the project to ensure that the works are carried out safely and inline with the customers expectations. * Managing all health and safety aspects of the project including all CDM requirements and the necessary health and safety paperwork such as risk assessments, method statements and permit to work. * Ensuring all projects are completed in line with the programme, project plan, to Atlas expected standard of delivery and meeting the customers specifications at handed over. * Co-ordinating and managing any defect/reactive works required on sight inline with project delivery to the satisfaction of the contract requirements. * Co-ordination of design and its application within the projects stream of works. * Engaging in our commitment to continuously improve our quality and delivery and projects and support the clients operational and environmental commitments. * Ensure company procedures re followed and a high standard of customer service is provided. * Provide guidance and direction to the CAD/subcontractors to ensure operational and technical excellence. * Manage site drawings and O&M manuals to ensure they are kept, retained, and maintained at all times. Qualification, Certifications and Training * GSCE in English and Maths or Equivalent * Accredited to a health and safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH, General Cert or IOSH managing safely * PRINCE2 and /or equivalent PM qualifications * Site management and safety accreditation SMST/SSST * Asbestos awareness qualification * First aid certificate (Emergency first aid at work as a minimum) Knowledge, Specific Role Skills and Experience * Experience in managing project work and delivering strategic tasks. * Proven successes in CDM governed projects. * Communicate effectively through both written and spoken word. * Able to articulate complex design and construction solutions to Non professionals in that field. * Ability to produce cost models that satisfies the commercial and business requirements. * Ability to use Microsoft office suite (Including MS Projects) and AutoCAD.
