Location: The Cotswolds
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP65,000 depending on experience

Join a prestigious national building contractor in a key role that blends tradition with innovation. We are seeking a Site Manager to lead renovation projects on Listed and Heritage Buildings in The Cotswolds. This position is primarily site-based.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all site operations for high-profile listed and heritage renovation projects, ensuring they are completed to high standards and within deadlines.
Oversee site safety, coordinating with health and safety officers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Produce detailed project schedules, monitor progress against timelines, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project objectives are met.
Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and professional execution of project specifications.
Manage procurement of materials and subcontract services, ensuring quality and efficiency while maintaining budgetary control.
Handle contract variations, negotiate with subcontractors and manage direct labour on site.
Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in site management, particularly for renovations of listed or heritage buildings and high-end new developments.
Relevant Degree or qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and meet project deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions on site.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with construction management software.
Comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, site management procedures, and safety regulations.
