Adecco's specialist Property Services Division North are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Sunderland City Councils fantastic city development team as we look to assist them in recruiting for three permanent Project Support Officers to assist in the development of the councils visionary city development master plan.
Purpose
The postholder will provide effective administrative support to the operational delivery and coordination of the Council's strategic development programme across multiple sectors (commercial, leisure, retail, residential, health, education, major infrastructure).
Duties
To provide technical and operational administration to assist the strategic development team with project mobilisation, delivery, and monitoring in accordance with programme, quality, budget, health and safety and risk requirements
Responsible for the administration of all documentation arising from the development process of construction projects within the team, from inception to completion.
Responsible for the timely payment of invoices and other project payments.
Support the implementation of standardised technical and operational processes.
To support the production of risk and opportunity registers and assisting with the implementation of mitigation, elimination and control mechanisms and regular reporting to minimise risk and maximise opportunity
To support and monitor project, financial and performance updates and reports as required
To support the preparation of business case and funding applications and collate supporting evidence as required, including preparation of monitoring returns to Government bodies
To support the preparation of technical and operational information that supports successful project delivery, including procurement
To collate plans, drawings and schedules that are required for tender documentation, contract documentation and legal title documentation associated with land and property sales.
Candidate requirements
HNC in building, construction, or any other relevant qualification to the field
Experience of supporting project delivery in a range of sectors including commercial, residential, health, leisure, education and infrastructure
Knowledge of construction processes/development phases
Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office, Power BI, other software usage - for reporting, tracking, monitoring, budgeting, forecasting or related (EX: REVIT, CAD, MS Project, ASTA, GIS)
Keen eye to detail and very organised
Knowledge of contractual agreements and stakeholders' relationship
