Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Developer - Leeds (Hybrid) - GBP 50,000 - 70,000 DOE

A new and exciting position has recently become live with a disruptive software house.

They are searching for a talented and passionate software developer with at least 5 years of commercial experience to join their IT team on a permanent basis and help them design solutions for their clients.

This is a role that will require you to work on-site one day per week, however, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK!

Technical Skills:

• C#/.Net
• JavaScript
• JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
• HTML
• CSS

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable full-stack applications using JavaScript frameworks for front-end and C# for back-end.
• Lead the development team in implementing best practices, coding standards, and design patterns to ensure consistent and high-quality codebase.
• Create and maintain responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster their growth and development.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions to ensure smooth functionality.
• Previous experience leading and mentoring a team of junior developers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
• Document code, architecture, and technical decisions to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
