Nursery Room Leader – South West London Nurseries Duration: Permanent, full time Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Start date: ASAP Edukai are currently working with outstanding nurseries in South West London. They are currently searching for Nursery Room Leaders. The successful Room Leaders will have strong experience, with a passion and commitment to leading an enthusiastic and dynamic team. Responsibilites include: * Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care * To act as key person for a group of children, by observing and monitoring. To ensure that all your key children have an accurate, up to date record of their learning and achievements * To plan and lead room supervisions, to support your team, reflect on and develop their own practice, focusing on the needs and interests of the current cohort of children as well as the provision, learning and development opportunities provided. * To assist and support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, but especially within the chosen room * Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children * As a keyworker for a group of children you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, every day * Update parents on their child’s day and development with invaluable professional feedback Benefits Include: * Pension Scheme * Training and Support for Personal Development * Staff Discounts * 33 days of Annual Leave * First Aid Training, DBS check and uniform provided * A good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum * A Level 2/3 Qualification in Early Years * Fluent level of spoken and written English At Edukai, we promote equality, challenge discrimination and recognise the positive value that comes from having a truly diverse workforce.
