Part time HR Assistant - Rural & Projects


Role Overview

Whilst part of the wider Savills HR team, you will work on a day-to-day basis for the Rural & Projects Division, supporting three Business Partners and an HR Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Rural & Projects HR team
  • Run reports and produce statistics as required by the division and other general wide-ranging admin duties
  • Administering new joiners to the division, including managing the onboarding Bot and new joiner mentor scheme
  • Provide employee relations advice and guidance to junior management
  • Support the divisional HR Business Partners in grievance and disciplinary investigations and hearings
  • Coordinating the production and review of all public HR documents
  • Proactive HR project team member

Key Skills

  • Highly proficient Excel user
  • Has a good skillset in working with systems and a keen interest in the application of technology in HR now and in the future
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Good planning and organisational skills, which will allow you to manage a considerable workload
  • Has an interest in current employment legislation
  • CIPD qualified to level 3 or equivalent experience or have a genuine interest in people and a desire to enter the world of HR

Team Overview

The Rural & Projects division has approximately 650 employees geographically spread from Truro in Cornwall to Inverness in Scotland. You will likely be based in the Peterborough office and will work day-to-day alongside one of the Business Partners and close to the HR Shared Services team. You will be part of the wider Savills HR Assistant/Advisor team which meets regularly and can be used as a support network.
