Upholster

A manufacturing company based in Southend are looking for two Upholsters to join their business.

We are looking for people with previous upholstery experience for this role.

The company are able to provide a top of the range facility to work in. If you want to work somewhere clean, with fantastic tooling, this is the role for you!

The role is paying 25,674.48 per annum working a 39 hour week - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am till 1pm on Fridays.

Upholstery duties:-

• To cut parts into complete kits using drawings, templates and instructions
• Shape foam using cutting tools
• Use various adhesives, bonding a variety of parts to create built up product and finished parts
• Work with a selection of small hand tools, including scissors and knives
• Dress sewn covers to assembly cushions
• Carry out re-works when necessary
• To cover build up parts with various materials, including cloth and leather

This is a permanent role, straight onto our clients payroll.
