Team Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Copello Global are working with a defence manufacturing business who are looking for a Team Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join them. Key deliverables of the role include: * The development of high quality reliable and safe electronic design, electrical design capability with relevant documentation in accordance with our design/quality standards and those specific to individual projects and/or programmes. * The effective leadership and management of direct reports ensuring development, welfare, behavior and performance are measured. * Maintain the Engineering review process with a strong focus on design objectives including ease of manufacture and assembly, product lifecycle maintenance, safety, and warranty. * The overall management and maintenance of procedures and documentation used by and created by the Team including ATSP’s, Work Instructions, CAD Models, Drawings and Project Documentation. * Reviewing the designs of the team and offering guidance where required to ensure designs are robust. The ideal candidate would incorporate the following: * Minimum of 5 years’ proven electronic and electrical design experience in industry. * Have excellent leadership skills and able to make solid business decisions. * Knowledge of CAD packages, such as Altium and Zuken. * Ability to write and review comprehensive technical design documentation. * Degree level qualification in Engineering discipline desirable.
