1:1 Teaching Assistant | Bushey, Hertfordshire | Start ASAP £13 per hour, 08:30-15:30 Temporary role, full-time until July 2024 SEN education or care experience is desirable An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of Randstad's partnership schools in Bushey. You will be supporting a key child in Key Stage 1 who has some special educational needs, including ADHD, providing essential assistance to ensure their academic and personal development. This role is full-time but the hours can be flexible for the right candidate. Responsibilities of your 1:1 TA role: Provide one-on-one support to the designated student throughout the school day Assist with academic tasks and activities, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of the child Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for the student, promoting their well-being Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on the child's progress and any concernsRequirements of your 1:1 TA role: Previous experience in childcare is essential Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly ADHD, is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs Flexibility in working hours (08:30-15:30), with potential for adjustment for the right candidateBenefits: Competitive hourly rate of £13-£14 per hour, with regular pay reviews Full-time contract until July 2024, with opportunities for a permanent role Supportive and collaborative work environment within a well-established school community Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of special educationIf you are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of children with autism and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
