Business Development Manager York / Field Based Up to £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an agricultural services company to recruit them an new Business Development Manager into the team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to win over new business from large commercial contracts as well as individual farmers. This is predominantly an office-based role, with some UK-wide travel expected for prospecting and client meetings. Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity to learn a new industry On-site car parking Funded industry qualifications Flexible working Main Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager: Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, and projects Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients Attending conferences, shows and events to build relationships with industry partners Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients Requirements of a Business Development Manager: Significant experience in acquiring new clients and securing new contracts Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities Highly organised and capable of working independently Proficiency in information technology, with expertise in Microsoft 365 applications
