Estimator Key Job Requirements * As an estimator in our manufacturing environment, you will primarily be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of materials and labour needed for production. * Work closely with our sales, procurement, design and production teams to ensure that our pricing is competitive and in line with company objectives. * Support our sales team as necessary with documentation and communication. * Use our bespoke software to produce detailed and accurate build specification sheets. Skills We Think Will Help You Succeed In this Role: * Excellent numerical and computer skills. * Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Excellent communication skills and able to work with people at all levels in the business. * Strong willed and ability to work to tight deadlines. * Eager to see tasks through to completion. Estimator required experience – If you’ve got it, we want it! * Educated to Higher / A-Level / Degree level. * Experience within a mechanical engineering environment, although not essential, may be advantageous. * Experience of preparing accurate and timely estimates.
