Field Service Crane Engineer

MS454 - Field Service Crane Engineer Location: Belfast  Salary: £30,784 per annum basic  Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Crane Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The working hours for this role is Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 & Friday 8:00 - 13:00. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out service inspection contracts. Refurbishment and modernisation projects. Installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists. Liaise with customers on work scope, safety procedures and method statements. Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures. Ensure paperwork is kept up to date and completed accurately. Personal presentation and communication standards are excellent. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant trade qualifications. Experience with overhead cranes and hoists. Clean current driving licence. Ability to work at heights. Willingness to work 24 hour call out rota. Desirable: Working knowledge of LOLER 98. M.E.W.P.S licence. CSR Card. Experience with Demag products preferred but not essential
