Mechanical Fitter / Gerrards Cross / £26k - £28k starting salary Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Assembler? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets. Based in a busy Fitting Shop department, you will be undertaking a variety of mechanical assemblies and workshop operations. Location / Hours: You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available. 37hrs a week (Mon - Thur 8:00 - 17:00 / Fri 8:00 - 12:00) Requirements: Experience with drilling machines and riveting techniques such as manual, orbital and spin Use of adhesives and glues (Araldite etc) Experience of using measuring equipment and hand tools Capable of working to engineering drawings Manufacturing experience, ideally 2 years plus Pressure test experience (desirable) Salary & Benefits: As a Mechanical Fitter, you will earn a starting salary between £26,000 - £28,000 plus benefits including: Premium Overtime Rate Excellent Pension Scheme (9% non-contributory) Health care plan & Life Assurance Lunchtime Friday Finish Annual Bonus Apply now to find out more about this Mechanical Fitting / Assembly job opportunity.
