Maths and English Tutor

Maths and English Tutor - Ongar, Epping - Essex Remedy Education are looking for a Secondary Tutor to work 1:1 with a student with SEN, you will be teaching the students core subjects. The young student has ASD, challenging behaviour and needs special support throughout the day. SEN experience needed: You will work privately or through the local authorities on a 1: 1 basis to make a difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs. To be a SEN Tutor Primary you will need: QTS; at least 8 years' experience teaching and assessing English and / or Maths and / or Science in primary and / or secondary schools; at least 8 years' experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay; a proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem and love of learning; 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty; to creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching; excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills; incredible patience; an excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these; the ability to deal with possible behaviour issues; the ability to work flexibly and attend meetings outside hours if necessary; to be a team-worker; a Enhanced DBS on the update service; a willingness to apply for public liability and professional indemnity insurance; register to work as self-employed.Please apply now or call Sophie at Remedy for more information
