Early Years Teaching Assistant

Early Years Teaching Assistant  Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: £80 - £100 per day Start Date: ASAP GSL Education are seeking a nurturing and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a vibrant early years setting in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to make a positive impact on their early educational experiences. Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering engaging and educational activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Work closely with the early years team to plan and prepare materials for daily activities. Observe and record children's progress, sharing outcomes with the early years teacher. Requirements: NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education. Experience working within an early years setting. Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices. A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with young children.
