Plumber

We re hiring for an experienced Plumber to join the housing maintenance team in the High Peak in order to provide high quality housing maintenance services to local people. Putting residents needs at the heart of everything they do, you ll need to be customer focused and have a friendly, helpful, and professional approach.

What s on offer?

• GBP14.46 per hour
• Monday to Friday 8:30 am 4:30 pm / 4:00 pm finish Fridays
• Company van & mobile
• Power tools provided
• Weekly pay
• 3 6-month contact (could lead to a permanent role)

What will you be doing as a Plumber?

• Providing a high quality and cost-effective maintenance and repair service to a range of customers including repairing/replacing all plumbing works as well as multi skilled works at various domestic properties across the High Peak
• Working with your maintenance team colleagues, building strong working relationships, ensuring planned maintenance works are completed on schedule
• Responding quickly to priority tasks, undertaking fault diagnosis and repair, ensuring your work is completed swiftly and to the highest standard
• Interacting with customers, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations

What do you need?

• Experience of installation and maintenance plumbing work, ideally within domestic properties / social housing
• Experienced in wet wall techniques
• Competence in bathroom installations
• Full UK driving licence
• Customer facing experience; professional friendly manner
• An NVQ Level 2 certificate, or equivalent, in Plumbing

Carrying out maintenance work across the High Peak, you ll be given a specific area which is most local to you, and will be responsible for the timely and efficient maintenance within domestic properties. Apply today for consideration or speak with Bobbie at KPJ Group for more information.
