Registered Manager (Children & Young People)


Ironstone Recruitment, have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager working with Children & Young People to make their mark in a new provision based in Stoke-on-Trent. It will be your goal is to provide a therapeutic family environment to facilitate our young people mental, emotional and physical needs. The management of a residential home and ensure efficient operation of the service in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and Statement of Purpose for the home. Oversee the daily operations of a residential facility. To support your team to achieve the highest standards of care for the children and young people. Ensure the safety and well-being of the Children & Young People. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Manage your team and provide leadership and guidance. Coordinate and monitor resident activities and programs. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Liaise with the Responsible Individual and the commissioning authorites to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children/young people are met. Requirements Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Previous experience in a Children's Residential Provision. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices. Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, databases, etc.) Valid UK driver's license. Must have had previous experience in working in children’s care home setting.
