HGV Technician (Day Shift)

HGV Technician (Day shift) £42k+ Overtime Cardiff Our customer is looking for a HGV Technician to join their growing team on a full time basis. They are looking for someone to work site based at their workshop in Cardiff. This will be working for a main dealer, joining a team of 10 technicians. As HGV Technician you will: * Undertake maintenance and repair activities on HGV's of all types * To diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and effect permanent and complete repairs. * Mechanical repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics etc. * Completing paperwork and procedures relating to warranty, contract & retail work. * Preventative maintenance work to minimise unnecessary customer costs. The ideal candidate will have the below: * Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of HGV Vehicles. * HGV/PSV/ Main Dealer experience * Undertaken manufacturers training courses and maintained knowledge of work methods and technical data. * Full and current UK driving licence, an LGV licence is preferred but not essential. * A friendly, confident, and professional manner with excellent communication skills. * Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a larger team as well as on their own initiative.
