Management Accountant

Recent growth has created a new role in the accounts department for a Management Accountant to join the team. This position will support the Head of Finance in all areas and therefore offers a broad scope of exposure and responsibility, the position will interact with stakeholders at all levels across the business and requires a confident, friendly individual with strong communication skills. This opportunity would suit someone AAT qualified or CIMA / ACCA studier looking for more ownership of the month end and financial reporting duties in addiction to delegated project work. The key responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Financial reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
• Bank reconciliation across different accounts
• Assisting with annual audit and year end
• Assisting with group VAT return
• Stock reconciliations
• Ad hoc duties and internal controls improvement
• Supporting the finance team

The Management Accountant role will interact regularly with non-finance personnel so the ability to interpret and communicate financial data in a clear and concise manner will be essential. Suitable applicants must have experience in a similar finance role either as an Assistant Accountant looking to step up or a Management Accountant looking for a change and more responsibility.
