Multi Skilled Engineer – Continental Shift Pattern Location: Hull Salary: £40,351 + Pension + Overtime Shifts 12hr shifts (4 on 4 off – 2 days and 2 nights) Reference: Jo5386/SB The Company My client is one of the world’s leading privately owned specialist mineral based manufacturers, who have been established over 140 years, supplying a wide range of industries. Due to further expansion within the British market; they need to recruit an additional multi skilled engineer, at their Hull site. Key Skills * Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering * Experience of Automated PLC Systems & Machinery * Understanding of PPM systems within a Heavy Process The Role The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer, but have some multi-skilling and have PLC controlled automated machinery, PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on automated machinery, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on pneumatics, hydraulics, materials handling machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other heavy manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
