Sales Account Manager

OA is seeking a Sales Account Manager to become an integral part of our client's thriving team.

This opportunity involves joining a dynamic Software company located in Watford, offering a stimulating work environment and ample growth potential.

You will need to be an experienced sales person and Account Manager with a readily available client base to approach and work with.

Location: Watford

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. Office based.

Salary: Dependant on experience

Sales Account Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  • Uncovering new business for yourself and the company and converting these into long-standing relationships, you ll do this by picking up the phone to speak to as many people as possible as well as social selling using your premium LinkedIn account
  • Securing new business and retaining current business
  • Any accounts that you bring, stay as your own and as your business grows the focus will shift more onto account and relationship management
  • Responsible for your own purchasing and negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers

Sales Account Manager - Skills and Experience:

  • Well-presented and confident
  • No prior knowledge in the IT industry is needed
  • Active client base is essential
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, picking up the phone and uncovering new business for the company and yourself is essential
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers whilst gaining their trust and respect
  • Constantly innovating and trying to improve products and services with the information you get from your customers
