Commercial Gas engineer

Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer on a permanent basis located in Surrey.

Commercial Gas Engineer responsible for servicing, maintaining, installing, and refurbishing full plant rooms. Additionally, proficient in handling reactionary call-outs and addressing breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Be on out of hours call out rota, attend emergency repair works as required
• Servicing, diagnostics and repairs of gas boilers, HVAC equipment, gas appliances, heating systems, hot water systems and gas pipe work etc. in both domestic and commercial settings
• Install and repair underfloor heating systems
• Performing gas safety certificates
• Attending emergency gas and water leaks
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the safe operation of gas equipment
• Assemble and install gas pipes, valves, fittings, and appliances
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance

Requirements

• Valid Gas Safe registration.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in gas and plumbing services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK drivers license
