Fixed-term opportunities between July and September 2024
Earn up to GBP15.35 per hour
Working an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days with the opportunity for voluntary paid overtime at specified times, particularly during our busy periods

Do you have a love for languages?

We're searching for passionate EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Teachers to deliver our successful and popular English Language Programme. There are a wide range of nationalities from across Europe and Asia that we have visit our Centres; with our courses combining classroom based English language lessons, sightseeing excursions and our famous PGL outdoor activities bringing learning to life!

Albeit you'll be bringing your teaching expertise to PGL you will get plenty of support to get you up to speed on how we approach our programmes through a 3-day induction and support from an on-site Director of Studies who will guide you through pre-written courses for you to deliver (A1-B2 level) with the option for you to include your own resources that meet our 'Can Do' philosophy.

THE ROLE

You'll be helping us share language, culture and adventure with the next generation by:
Preparing and delivering a range of fun & engaging lessons to students based on a weekly or fortnightly programme. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students.
Providing encouragement and motivation to your students to help them reach their academic potential in the classroom.
Creating a fun and safe environment, reviewing the happiness of our guests and continuously exploring ways to improve and innovate our language courses (with no pastoral duties).
Opportunity to travel to at our other beautiful centres should you wish

IS THIS YOU?
Hold a Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL, PGCE in English/Modern Languages, Primary PGCE leading to QTS or equivalent
Fluency in written and spoken English
Previous experience of teaching or delivering training in a classroom setting
A background in working with or teaching children
Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
A passion for teaching and helping students reach their language goals
