Recruitment Manager


We have an exciting opportunity to join a Bristol based Trust with a portfolio of schools, to lead their recruitment function. The role * Developing a recruitment strategy for the organisation. * Collaborating with Senior Management to identify current and future staffing needs. * Leading end to end recruitment. * Speaking with potential candidates to roles are accurately described and fully understood. * Building and sustaining a professional, employer of choice reputation in the market. * Monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed objectives. * Fostering positive relationships with recruitment agencies and educational institutions to maximise candidate pipelines. * Conducting regular market research to stay up to date on hiring trends and salary benchmarking. * Implementing and enhancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. * Advising the broader business on recruitment best practice, ensuring fair and transparent procedures * Planning and participating in recruitment events. * Developing and delivering recruitment-related training sessions to managers. * Overseeing the onboarding process for new staff members. * Line managing two Recruitment Administrators. The person * Strong previous recruitment experience * Experience within education would be advantageous but not essential. * Line management experience would be a benefit. * Used to meeting targets and reporting against KPIs. * Experience of working with high volumes of recruitment and new starters * A “can do” approach”. * Ability to build and establish relationships within the HR team and across the broader business. * Be keen to explore and drive new innovative recruitment campaigns, embrace technology and already be social media savvy. * Excellent communication skills, a strong self-starter and able to deal with complex queries with tact and confidentiality. The salary £33,000- £36,500 (depending on experience), plus excellent CPD opportunities, discount reward schemes, free parking, flu jab, Cycle to Work Scheme, Eyecare Scheme, Local Government Pension Scheme and access to an Employee Assistance programme. Hours – 8-4 Monday to Thursday and 8-3.30pm on Friday (37 hours) Location: Bristol – 100% office based
