Sous Chef - Permanent


About the role:
Duties:
  • To help produce, monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
  • To have total accountability for the day to day running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Achieving budgeted costs of food, GP, wastage and wages.
  • Menu Development.
  • Stock Control.
  • Team management and training.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness.
  • Ordering through our selected suppliers.
  • Compliance and safety, ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and monitored

Experience required:
  • Minimum level 3 in food health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Working within budgets.
  • The ability to cope under pressure, calmly and efficiently.
  • A positive approach to menu planning and costing.
  • Stocktaking Experience.
