SEN Teaching Assistant - Level 2B

Position: Level 2B SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:45 3:45 (half hour lunch) term time only 32.5 hours per week.

Type: Temporary contract (with possibility of going permanent for the right candidate)

Pay: (Apply online only)/day depending on experience

Start Date: October 2025

Vida Education are looking for an experienced or newly qualified level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this position you will be working within a specialist SEND provision catering for children from 2-19 years with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) and/or diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC). The school in located north of Carnforth (LA5) and has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with children with ASC, PMLD or SLD
• Bring a nurturing, enthusiastic, and reliable presence to the classroom
• Full-time role is ideal however part-time is also negotiable (minimum of 15 hours per week)

You would be joining a supportive and progressive team who encourages career progression.

YOU WILL NEED TO

• Have UK Right to Work Status.
• Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
• Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
