Carpenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter with expertise in formwork to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and follow engineering drawings and plans to determine the layout and placement of formwork.
Measure, cut, and assemble formwork using wood, metal, or plastic materials.
Install and secure formwork for concrete foundations, walls, slabs, columns, and beams.
Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and square, using appropriate measuring tools.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
Dismantle formwork after concrete has cured, ensuring materials are preserved for reuse.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on formwork in the construction industry.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of construction safety protocols.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent certification.
Valid CSCS card.
Experience with large-scale construction projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to GBP40,000.00 per year
